Leonardo Spanu is the Manager for the Electrification of Industry & Transport program at Shell, where he is responsible for advancing emerging technologies across the power value chain, including generation, grid, storage, and digital enablers. Based in Houston, Leonardo brings a broad and multidisciplinary background spanning multiple roles within Shell’s technology organization in both India and the United States.
His professional experience covers a wide range of domains, including nuclear energy, hydrogen, natural gas monetization, advanced materials, modelling, and simulation. In addition to his industry role, Leonardo has served as a scientific advisor to various research and academic institutions. Leonardo holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Physics.
