Qiang Liu is currently the Associate R&D Director of External Technology at Dow. In this role, Qiang leads Dow’s global university sponsored research, national lab collaborations, strategic external partnership and funding strategies, and startup technology scouting. Qiang joined Dow in 2015 and held various leadership roles over the last 10 years, including leading polyol process research, catalysis and digitalization, and industrial intermediates pilot plant operations.
Qiang received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Texas at Austin and his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of California at Berkeley.
